  • If any of the symptoms listed sound like you, there is a good chance you may be experiencing anxiety. Another way that you may be able to notice is how it shows up in your body. Often anxiety can feel like an upset stomach, chest tightness, feeling sweaty, or restless. If you are often worrying about the future, or things in general such as work, finances, relationships, and decision making- you may be dealing with anxiety.   • You will know therapy is effective by keeping the goals you set in mind during the first session. Focusing on those goals helps us to have a marker of where things began and where we are trying to go.

  • It can be uncomfortable, but our focus will often be on discussing worries, fears, or behaviors that are not benefiting you and using that learn which specific coping skills you should learn and practice. Most of your work will take place outside of session when you are dealing with day to day stressors and practicing what you have learned. Overall you can expect we will collaborate together to come up with a plan that you feel positively about.
