Therapy for burnout .
Feeling more satisfied and fulfilled with your life is possible.
Work is a huge part of our lives and many of us feel proud about our titles and the work we do. What happens when your work is no longer a source of pride, but of frustration, sadness, and confusion?
It can be tough when the career you’ve worked so hard for starts to feel like a mistake. Together we can work on finding clarity, coming up with boundaries, and making a plan to move forward in the most positive and beneficial way for you.

Common questions about stress and burnout
-
If you’ve identified with anything you’ve read on this page, therapy can be helpful. Stress and burnout can be from work, or from other things in your life and we will work together to figure out where it’s coming from and how to improve it if possible.
-
If you’ve ever heard you can’t fix burnout with rest, it’s true. Rest is helpful but if you’re in the same environment it will return over time. The best way to improve burnout is to make changes if possible. Stress is the same way.

Everyone is different. I normally recommend about 8-12 weeks of weekly sessions for someone to feel things are starting to change and feel more confident in their ability to handle stress with the techniques discussed in therapy. We can talk throughout our time together to find the best time to move to a maintenance stage of therapy.
