THERAPY FOR RELATIONSHIP ISSUES IN WI & TX
Reconnect to others. Reconnect to yourself.
Relationships are one of the best & hardest parts of life.
Are you unsatisfied with the state of your relationships? The way we relate to others can have a big impact on our life satisfaction. There are different types of relationships such as parent/child, friendships, familial and romantic. Each relationship you have can either empower or drain you. If you’re looking to have more positive and fulfilling relationships, you’re in the right place.
Therapy for relationships may be beneficial to you if:
You notice your relationships seem to be frustrating and draining to you
You have trouble moving on from relationships that have ended
You struggle with setting boundaries and often feel taken advantage of
You feel guilty about having wants and needs that are not being addressed
You are struggling with being single and/or need support with dating
More satisfying and fulfilling relationships are possible.
As humans we need connection with others- but what happens when the connections in your life are making things worse instead of better?
It’s tough when things with our loved ones aren’t going well, and these relationships impact our daily life satisfaction, as well as the way we view ourselves and the world. Together we can work on identifying patterns, setting boundaries, and healing from past relationship patterns.
Relationship therapy can help:
Learn new ways of communicating so interactions are less draining.
Identify unhealthy patterns earlier on to help make moving on easier.
Set boundaries with others and yourself that you feel good about.
Learn to identify and share your needs and desires.
Bolster existing relationships to support you through singleness and dating.

Common questions about relationship therapy
-
Yes. We can only control ourselves, and giving you a safe space to process issues and concerns can help you to get clear on how to move forward in a healthier way.
-
No. While we often think of romantic relationships and therapy, any type of relationship can benefit. This means familial, friendships, and even people who are not currently in a romantic relationship who are hoping to be in one in the future (or have been in one in the past) can benefit.
-
Everyone is different, but most clients meet regularly for 8-12 weeks and then may taper off for “maintenance” appointments. This is personal and can be discussed throughout treatment to make sure you are comfortable.
